Heerema Marine Contractors (HMC) announced the signing of a letter of intent with Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Co., Ltd., Korea (DSME), for the building of a new Deep Water Construction Vessel. STX Europe has entered into a new contract with Simon Møkster Rederi for the building of a Platform Supply Vessel (PSV). The vessel is of STX Europe PSV 09L CD design. The 4,900DWT vessel is scheduled for delivery in Q1 2012 and features an overall length of 93.5 m, a beam (mld.) of 19.0 m. The cargo deck measures 1,055 sqm. (more…)
